All 3 Kansas Div. 1 teams make the NCAA Tournament
WICHITA, Kan. - As winner of the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament the Wichita State men's basketball team were assured a place in the NCAA Tournament. On Sunday their seeding and opponent was selected.
WSU is a 10 seed in the South Region and will play Dayton on Friday night in Indianapolis. That game will be broadcast on 103.7 KEYN with a pregame start at 6:10 p.m.
No. 1 seed Kansas was rewarded for its 13th straight regular-season conference championship by getting to play the opening round just down the road in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the Midwest Region. The Jayhawks face the winner of a play-in game between North Carolina Central and UC Davis.
K-State also made the NCAA Tournament and will play in a First Four game on Tuesday night against Wake Forest in Dayton, Ohio.
