WICHITA, Kan. (KNSS) - Dave "The Rave" Stallworth, one of the greatest players in the history of Wichita State men's basketball, has died at the age of 75.
The 6-foot-7 Stallworth came to Wichita from Dallas, becoming a two-time All-American with the Shockers in 1964 and 1965, leading WSU to national rankings and prominence. He was a three-time First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection during his college career.
Stallworth is one of only five players to have his number (#42) retired at Wichita State.
